Topics: Detailed information on occupational training and career
course; current professional position and length of affiliation with
this government office; criteria for occupational success in public
administration; characterization of subject area and occupation
characteristics; extent of side jobs and overtime; requirements of
current activity; supposed higher payment for the activity conducted in
the private economy; judgement on one´s state of health and work
satisfaction (scale); ideal image of a superior and a colleague;
reference group in occupational orientation; participation in further
education events; preferred further education topics; reading technical
literature; importance of knowledge in personnel leadership and
personnel organization; description of extent and origin of circle of
friends.

Beyond this records were made by the respondents based on
self-observations. In these records individual job tasks were described
in detail and their time duration recorded. In these self-observations
information is provided about: 1. the communication habits with other
colleagues, 2. the subject areas affected by the work process, and 3.
the position of the work process in the decision-making process of the
task to be done.
