Network for Observation of Volcanic and Atmospheric Change (NOVAC): SO2 flux from Masaya Volcano (Nicaragua)

Emission rate of SO2 from Masaya volcano for the period 2013-03-07 to 2016-09-30. This dataset contains individual SO2 flux measurements obtained from scanning DOAS instruments part of the NOVAC network, operated by INETER (Nicaragua), and daily statistics. Data has been processed with the NOVAC batch processing software, using meteorological data from the ECMWF ERA interim analysis database (0.125/0.125 deg, 6 h) interpolated at the volcano summit coordinates for the time of each measurement. Plume height and direction is obtained by triangulation of two scan measurements when possible. It also includes daily statistics. The file was prepared as part of the DECADE/DCO project.
