Effects of Exogenous Cadmium Stress on the Growth of Panax notoginseng and Rhizosphere Soil

Panax notoginseng is a traditional and valuable Chinese medicinal herb. In recent years, cadmium (Cd) contamination has significantly impacted its quality. This study focused on one-year-old P. notoginseng and systematically investigated the effects of different concentrations of Cd stress on the microbial community. Therefore, this study employed a simulated fertilization approach by applying cadmium via foliar fertilization to investigate the impact of Cd carried in chemical fertilizers on the growth of Panax notoginseng.
