Sulphates record from ICORDA-LDC firn core from Little Dome C, Antarctica

In preparation for the deep drilling of the Beyond Epica Oldest Ice deep ice core, surface cores were drilled at Little Dome C drilling site to characterise how the climate signal is recorded in the firn. The ICORDA-LDC firn core (75°17.586 S, 122°24.808 E) was drilled in January 2023. We present the sulphate measurements obtained by ion chromatography on the core sample in 2024 at the Laboratory of Climate and Environmental Sciences (Saclay, France).
