SoftwareKG-Mention-Entity

This publication contains data of SoMeSci and SoftwareKG modeled in a unified data model for Software Mentions in Scientific Publications. The result is a Knowledge Graph which integrates both dataset in a more general data model. SoMeSci is a gold standard dataset established by human annotation. It was developed by David Schindler, Felix Bensmann, Stefan Dietze and Frank Krüger, is described in https://doi.org/10.1145/3459637.3482017, and available from https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4968738. SoftwareKG is a automatically extracted large-scale dataset, covering publications in the PMC Open Access Subset. It was developed by David Schindler, Felix Bensmann, Stefan Dietze and Frank Krüger, is described in https://doi.org/10.7717/peerj-cs.835, and available from https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10048276. The raw data is provided in Turtle (.ttl) format in the included zip archive SoftwareKG_Mention_Entity.zip. The formal SHACL validation model for the data is defined in validation_model.ttl. Lastly, a human-readable overview of terms that had to be newly defined for the model is provided in term_definitions.md. A closer description of the underlying data model will be made available in a future publication.
