Gene expression profile of G93A-SOD1 mouse spinal cord, blood and muscle

To investigate the usefulness of gene expression as diagnostic biomarkers, we compared whole genome expression profiles of lumbar spinal cord with profiles of peripheral blood and tibialis anterior muscle in 16 mutant G93A-SOD1 mice and 15 wild type littermates. Total RNA obtained from blood, tibialis anterior muscle and lumbar spinal cord of G93A-SOD1 mice compared to wild type littermates.为探究基因表达作为诊断生物标志物（diagnostic biomarkers）的应用价值，本研究对16只突变型G93A-SOD1小鼠与15只野生型同窝仔鼠的腰脊髓、外周血及胫前肌的全基因组表达谱进行了对比分析。本研究从上述两类小鼠的外周血、胫前肌及腰脊髓中提取总RNA，并对两组样本的表达谱进行比较。
