Vibrio cholerae biofilm and planktonic growth RNAseq analysis

To determine transcriptome differences in Vibrio cholerae when grown as planktonic and biofilm cultures, whole-genome level transcriptional profiling was performed using RNAseq analysis. Transcriptomes of biofim and planktonic cultures were compared in this study. Three biological replicates of wild-type V. cholerae A1552 smooth variant grown under planktonic or biofilm conditions were used for this study.
