Congklak for Early Childhood Education Innovative Learning Instrument to Build Sustainable Resilient Characters

Congklak is a traditional game deeply embedded in Indonesian cultural heritage that offers a wealth of developmental benefits across the lifespan, particularly during early childhood. However, its presence has significantly declined in line with the rapid advancement of technology and digitalization. Despite this decline, congklak holds considerable potential, particularly during the age of early childhood development. It plays an important role in activating multisensory, motor, and cognitive growth in early childhood children, which become basic positive cultural values. This article presents a conceptual framework that offers a systematic guideline for congklak as an innovative learning.
