Effect of dual task training and mirror therapy on upper extremity function among patients with chronic stroke

Background- people with stroke suffer from upper extremity impairment in chronic phase of stroke
Objective- The objective of this study was to identify the effect of dual task training and mirror therapy on upper extremity function, activities of daily living and quality of life among patients with chronic stroke
Materials and Method- 17 participant with stroke duration greater than 6 months. upper extremity function, ADL"s and qol was assessed using FUGl-meyer upper extrremity function, modified barthel index and stroke specific quality of life. the data was assesed at baseline and after providing 2 weeks of intervention.
Result- statistical significant difference was found in all the outcome
conclusion- dual task training and mirror therapy is effective in imrpoving upper extremity function, activities of daily living and quality of life.
