资源简介:
Abstract: In all steps through the providing care process a certain risk is inherent. The nature and severity of risk vary, substantially, with the context of care, and with the availability of infrastructure and resources existing in different countries (DGS, 2011).According to the General Health Directorate, the occurrence of safety incidents during healthcare delivery is a reality of modern health systems (DGS, 2017). The great challenge of health systems and care-provider organizations is maintaining awareness for risk detection by implementing security policies and strategies that minimize avoidable incidents (DGS, 2011).Communication failures are considered the major causes of adverse health events, internationally. About 70% of these events occur due to failures of communication among health professionals, during the patient care transition times (DGS,2017).It is understood by the transition of care as “any time of the provision at which the transfer of responsibility for care and information among providers is found, which has the mission and security of them as a mission” (DGS, 2017, p.4).During the perioperative period, in a short time, multiple transferences occur. The risk of failures and omissions in the information transfer increasing, potentiating adverse effects (Boat & Spaeth, 2013).Postoperative transfer is one of the most critical stages in care for the surgical patient. The lack of clear and unequivocal guidelines gives the process of transitioning the care a randomness, which leads us to question, whether the transmitted information is relevant to the continuity of care delivery (Barroso et al., 2021).Mapping the facilitating strategies of transferring the care responsibility in the perioperative period.Review Method: Scoping review protocol according to the Joanna Briggs Institute method, based upon PCC (Participants, Concept and Context) framework, Participants will included: health professionals - nurses and physicians; the concept: facilitating strategies of transferring care responsibility in the adult person; and the context: perioperative period under hospital stay. Original studies and systematic reviews of the Portuguese and English language literature will be included with no temporal restriction. Indexed bases will be consulted in MEDLINE and CINAHL Complete. The search results on the different scientific databases will be exported to the Rayyan online tool, where the screening and selection of articles will be performed. Screening, extracting and synthesis of data will be performed by three independent reviewers. Results will be presented according to PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews recommendations.Presentation and interpretation of the results: A narrative summary and tables will be used to systematize the information collected. Conclusion: With this study we expect to identify the facilitating strategies of transferring the care responsibility in the perioperative period, contributing to the improvement of the quality of care provided to the surgical patient and its safety.
