By comprehensively leveraging remote sensing data products of vegetation productivity and aboveground standing biomass for the major grazing grasslands across Eurasia, this dataset calculates the gap between total aboveground grass yield and standing biomass of these grasslands, thereby generating pixel-scale grassland utilization intensity index data products for each year. These products are used to reflect the overall utilization status of grassland vegetation, with a higher value indicating a higher utilization intensity.
