资源简介:

Dataset Information Current Version: v1 (changelog at end of repository Contacts: Daniel J. Ford (d.ford@exeter.ac.uk) and Alizée Roobaert (alizee.roobaert@vliz.be) The Surface Ocean CO2 Mapping Intercomparison Project entered its second phase (SOCOMv2) with a range of expeirments which provides a coordinated, community-driven framework to evaluate sfCO2 reconstructions and derived air–sea CO2 fluxes under present-day observational constraints. This repository holds the dataset used within a Global Ocean Biogeochemical Model (GOBM) subsampling experiment designated Experiment 2, where nine fugacity of CO2 (fCO2) reconstruction methodologies reconstructed five GOBMs from the Global Carbon Budget 2023 (and one from 2024). The analysis and results of the study are presented in Roobaert et al. (in prep). Data format This dataset includes five individual zip files which contain a single netCDF file. Within each netCDF, the model fCO2sw and air-sea CO2 fluxes alongside the data product interpolated fCO2sw and resulting air-sea CO2 fluxes. Ancillary information including for example model sea surface tmeperature and salinity, gas transfer, wind speed and a consistent mask where all data products provide an fCO2sw estimate, are included within each file to aid interpretation of the data. Each zip file contains a netCDF file with the corresponding naming: SOCOMv2_Ex2_<model_name>_full_variables_<version>.nc where <model_name> is the model name from the five models, and <version> represents the dataset version. Model naming is shown in the table below: Model Name CESM_ETHZ_r1 FESOM2_REcoM IPSL_r1 MRI_ESM2_2 NorESM_vGCB2024 We refer the user to the netCDF file for the full set of avaiable variables but as a quick start: Model fCO2sw are found under: model_sfco2 Model air-sea CO2 fluxes are found under: model_flux The corresponding data product fCO2sw and air-sea CO2 fluxes are found by replacing 'model' with the corresponding dataproduct name. For example: VLIZ-SOMFFN_sfco2 Avaiable data products are: Dataproduct Name CarboScope CMEMS-LSCE-FFNN CSIR-ML6 JMA-MLR NIES-ML3 OceanSODA-ETHZv2 pCO2Residual UExP-FNN-U-v2 VLIZ-SOMFFN How to reference? If you are using this data within a subsequent study, please reference the supporting manuscript (Roobaret et al., in prep) and the dataset repository with the version number. If this dataset is the primary dataset used in your study then the authors are requested to contact Alizée Roobaert (alizee.roobaert@vliz.be) and Daniel J. Ford (d.ford@exeter.ac.uk). Changelog Version Changes since previous version v1 Initial release of the dataset ready for submission of the supporting manuscript.
