Gene expression profile at the single cell level of tissue derived breast microstructures after lipid exposure

The effects of the medium-chain fatty acid octanoic acid (OA) on breast tissue were investigated using single-cell RNA sequencing. Breast microstructures were exposed to either vehicle (PBS) or octanoic acid (OA) for 24 hours, then dissociated into single cells for analysis using single-cell RNA sequencing.
