THE IMPORTANCE OF PERSONAOLITY-ORIENTED LEARNING AND ROLE-PLAYING AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN DEVELOPING STUDENTS' LEADERSHIP SKILLS

This article examines pedagogical mechanisms for developing leadership qualities among students in modern higher education institutions, with a focus on learner-centered approaches. The social and psychological essence of leadership is analyzed, and the significance of designing educational processes aimed at fostering leadership qualities through well-structured pedagogical technologies is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to innovative forms of instruction, role-playing activities, group-based learning, and interactive methods as effective tools for developing goal orientation, initiative, responsibility, communicative competence, and organizational skills in students. The paper also offers practical recommendations for enhancing leadership competence within the higher education system.
