26 elite bucks (used in artificial insemination) were selected to represent French Alpine breed diversity. Combining pedigree and genotyping data, 26 animals were selected in Capgenes Artificial Insemination Center. Those animals belong to recent cohorts and are complementary to FRCH-ALP animals included in PRJEB37507, VarGoats umbrella project. DNA was extracted from blood and submitted to whole genome sequencing at a 10-12X depth on an Illumina Novaseq machine.
