Facial and Bodily emotional stimuli

This dataset contains the stimulus materials (facial emotional pictures, bodily emotional pictures, and emotional background music) for a study on the mood-congruence effect of background music in facial and bodily emotion recognition among female college students. The study uses a mixed design (music type as between-subjects, expression emotion as within-subjects) to examine how happy, sad, and angry music modulates recognition accuracy and response time. Key findings include a mood-congruence effect under happy and sad music (not fully present under angry music) and better recognition performance under happy music. The dataset is shared to enable research replication and further exploration of music-emotion interactions.
