In a pot-scale experiment tomato plants were transplanted within soils naturally infected with the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita, and checked for both the presence of pests and/or pathogens and plant vigour after the amendment of: i) a glucosinolate-containing DSM from Brassica carinata (CAR); ii) a non-glucosinolate-containing DSM as sunflower (SUN); iii) the metham sodium fumigant (VAP); iv) an untreated control.In this work the response of microbial community was studied 0, 10, 32 and 62 days after the treatments.
