Downscaled GRACE Total Water Storage Change (TWSC) Dataset at daily and 1 km resolution for Naryn – Kara Darya basins and Fergana valley (2002–2023)

This dataset contains the downscaled GRACE total water storage change (TWSC) estimates for the Naryn–Kara Darya basins and the Fergana Valley covering the period 2002–2023, at a daily resolution and spatial resolution of 1 km. The downscaling is performed by integrating GRACE data with high-resolution hydrological forcing datasets, including precipitation, evapotranspiration, and runoff from the Multi-Source Weighted-Ensemble Precipitation (MSWEP), the Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model (GLEAM), and the Global Flood Awareness System (GloFAS), respectively. The dataset is produced in support of a forthcoming manuscript on GRACE downscaling and high-resolution terrestrial water storage dynamics in Central Asia. The final version will be uploaded after peer review. Each annual file (HR_TWSC_MSWEP_GLEAM_GloFAS_YYYY.nc) provides daily TWSC grids in units of mm Equivalent Water Height (mm w.e.).
