Reasons for subscribing to SVOD services in the U.S. and Canada 2024

According to a survey from the second quarter of 2024, the most common reasons for Americans and Canadians to sign up for a new SVOD platform were content-related. Over one in three respondents subscribed because of a large library of good programming, while around 30 percent stated that they wanted good original content, and a certain piece of content to watch.
