De novo reference genomes (annotated) for two mesophotic, scleractinian (reef-building) coral species Leptoseris cf. scabra and Montipora cf. grisea from American Samoa. Associated RNA sequencing data for the two coral species. We used PacBio continuous long reads and Omni-C data to assemble chromosome-level reference genomes.
