资源简介:
Fisheries Harvest Data from a tropical coastal river in Southeast Asia. Results from a citizen scientist program consisting of 5 villages and 15 fishers established to collect continuous fisheries data for two years. Fishers collected data between March 1, 2021, and February 28, 2022, along the Sre Ambel River, Cambodia. Scientists provided training, materials, and a small compensation for their time and followed up with fishers to ensure data quality. The data represent their usual harvest and provide a baseline of the river prior to management. The data will aid in the development of management solutions, and will serve as a benchmark to assess the success of and to refine management actions that will be implemented under a community-based management framework. Three datasets included are: 1/ “fish_fishing_gear_data” - The capture per fishing gear dataset includes the number of fish and fish size. 2/ “fish_species_data” - The capture per species dataset includes the yearly number of fish and fish size per species. 3/ “fish_yield_data” - The yield dataset includes the monthly number of fish, fish size, and fishing effort.
