Protein quality in feedlot diets

The datasets used to compile the results for the feedlot MSc study titled 'Effect of dietry protein quality and rumen protected amino acid supplemntation on performance and carcass characteristics of feedlot cattle', researching protein quality in feedlot diets. Slaughter data file depict the carcass data of the feedlot steers. Feed conversation ratio depicts each pens feed intake and the calculated feed conversion ratio over a certain time period. Blood analysis collate the blood serum amino acid profile, urea and creatinine levels of feedlot steers over different time periods. Average daily gain determine the feedlot steers average daily gain (ADG) based on their weight over a certain period of time.
