Thermal runaway propagation model and data for NMC-811 and LFP lithium-ion batteries

This data set contains measurement data and thermal runaway propagation simulation models for an NMC-811 and LFP cell stack. For further specifications of the cells, experimental setup, and simulation model, please refer to the linked article. The measurements provide data on cell voltages and temperatures in NMC-811 cell stacks with aerogel intermediate materials in the thicknesses of 2 mm, 3 mm, and 4 mm. Furthermore, simulation files for model validation, risk maps, and uncertainty analysis are provided for the NMC-811 and LFP cell stacks to supplement the individual steps of the methodology.
