资源简介:

This dataset contains deidentified raw source-localized electroencephalography (EEG) tracings from the study "Frontal Cortex Hyperactivation and Gamma Desynchrony in Fragile X Syndrome: Correlates of Auditory Hypersensitivity," published in PLOS ONE. The data were collected from 36 individuals with Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) and 39 age- and sex-matched typically developing controls during an auditory chirp stimulus task, designed to assess neural synchronization and auditory processing. Raw source-localized tracings are provided in EEGLAB SET format (.set files), derived from 128-channel EEG data (sampled at 1000 Hz) and localized to 68 cortical nodes of the Desikan-Killiany atlas using a depth-weighted minimum norm estimate. Accompanying metadata detail experimental conditions, preprocessing steps (e.g., filtering, artifact removal via ICA, average referencing), and variable definitions. This dataset is publicly available to support replication and research into auditory hypersensitivity in FXS, per PLOS ONE’s open data policy. Due to Zenodo file number limitations, we have uploaded the FXS set as a zip file and control data as individual files. A metadata list is included to classify the files with basic demographics.
