Analysis of PVY-resistance gene Rychc derived from Solanum chacoense. Solanum tuberosum strain:184202-2

The goal of this project is to identify the sequence of PVY resistance gene Rychc derived from Solanum chacoense. Rychc gives silent and robust resistance to PVY infection, so the resistance is called extreme resistance. In this study, we generated a potato clone with the homozygous Rychc region and performed whole-genome sequencing via Nanopore sequencing and Illumina sequencing to assemble the genome of the Rychc-homozygous clone. Also, RNA-seq was performed to identify Rychc candidate genes.
