The structure and evolution of rice centromere (PRJCA025388)

Researches on centromeres in different types of rice genomes will deepen our understanding of this genome desert area and unveil its important functions from a new perspective. In this study, we integrated 840 rice centromeres from 70 high-quality rice genomes, which included 62 accessions of Asian rice and 8 of African rice, constructed a comprehensive dataset of rice centromeric genetic diversity.
