HSB Living Lab Fixture-Level Household Water Consumption Dataset (2019–2023)

This dataset contains anonymized, fixture-level household water consumption measurements from the HSB Living Lab, a four-story modular residential research building located on the Chalmers University campus in Gothenburg, Sweden. A total of 214 pulse-counting water meters (1 L resolution, 10-minute reporting intervals) recorded consumption across 28 apartments, 9 residential clusters, and 5 fixture types (toilets, kitchen taps, washbasins, showers, and dishwashers/washing machines) from December 2019 to January 2023. The cleaned dataset comprises 652,315 records representing 3,271 m³ of water over 946 days (83.9% temporal coverage). All identifying information has been anonymized, and the package includes the data dictionary, cleaning/anonymization scripts, and analysis code to reproduce the figures and statistics presented in the accompanying manuscript.
