Detailed information about the host genes identified in the genome-wide RNAi screen

To identify novel host factors involved in H1N1 influenza virus infection and potential therapeutic targets, we performed a genome-wide RNA interference (RNAi) screening on 18,602 human genes in A549 lung epithelial cells. The screening identified 2,134 host genes whose knockdown altered cell viability by more than 40% post-infection with the H1N1 influenza virus A/Puerto Rico/8/34 (PR8). Detailed information about the host genes identified in the genome-wide RNAi screen is listed.
