Sturgeon metabolomics. Acipenser ruthenus x Huso huso

This study aims at comparative metabolomics of Bester sturgeons to identify biomarker metabolites and associated metabolic pathways. The used feeds were: 1) commercial pellets as a reference; 2) pellets with L-lactic acid; 3) pellets with betaine; and 4) pellets with L-lactic acid and betaine. Ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) were applied.
