This series consists of accident compensation claims files created by the Motor Accidents Board under the provisions of the Motor Accidents Act 1973. The series includes No-fault Claim files and Common Law files.Files include:* the claimant's name* the date of accident* the date which the accident was reported* Application for Payment form* details of the claim amounts which have been paid, including the amount of settlement, and the date of payment(s)* memoranda of administrative action* Confirmation of Loss of Salary and Wages forms detailing: Date of commencement of employment, the first day absent following the date of accident, date of re-commencement of work, claimant's average wage preceding accident, claimant's taxation deduction.* claimant's age, address and marital status* the nature of the injuries sustained* details of any prior physical disabilities* name and address of driver of car if the injured person was not the driver.
