This dataset concerns pressure sensor datasets about the spatial evolution of a turbulent wake in the subsonic S620 wind tunnel of ISAE-ENSMA in Poitiers, France. The details about the experimental setup are given in the associated publication. A porous disk, designed to mimic the wake of a horizontal axis wind turbine, and a porous cylinder, whose wake matches that of a vertical axis wind turbine, were tested in a wind tunnel for Reynolds numbers (based on the generator diameter) in the range of 2.6 x 10^5 to 3.9 x 10^5. Experiments were conducted between 1 and 7 diameters downstream of the disk and from 2 to 12 diameters downstream of the cylinder. The data covers horizontal profiles made for several streamwise distances. The file ReadMe.txt explains the organisation and how the data can be read using an associated python script. All data concerns pressure sensors, that were operated with a nominal temporal resolution of 1kHz and have a resolution of 0.05%.
