Confocal data of Lobatihelota spp.

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for holotypes of <em>Lobatihelota lescheni</em> (NIGP200735) and <em>Lobatihelota iridescens</em> (NIGP200736). Additional confocal data for <em>Trihelota fulvata</em> (NIGP173378) are also provided. This dataset is associated with the publication "An unusual lineage of Helotidae in mid-Cretaceous amber from northern Myanmar (Coleoptera: Nitiduloidea)" (DOI:10.1071/IS23004). Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon; for <em>L. lescheni</em> and <em>L. iridescens</em>) or 561 nm (DPSS 561-10; for <em>T. fulvata</em>) laser excitation line. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
