Campylobacter’s reservoir: dissecting the chromosomal and plasmidic landscape underlying Antimicrobial Resistance in Campylobacter coli.

The objective of this work is to provide genomic insights into C. coli isolates detected in broiler chicken along a one-year period (2022) of national cross-sectional, EU harmonised survey(EU Decision 1729/2020). Our main goal was to study the role of plasmids in the maintenance and spread of acquired AMR in Campylobacter spp., investigating ARGs and their genomic location through HTS sequencing of samples via long and short reads.
