资源简介:

The following files are continuously updated versions of supplemental data and GIS files for the published Physical Progress in Geography article, "Worldwide water gaps: Using relative elevation modelling to identify transverse drainages" (https://doi.org/10.1177/03091333261480927). The GIS data are also viewable on the website watergaps.com. [To be notified of future updates, leave your email and a note requesting update information at https://tinyurl.com/4r88daa2] Below are the file descriptions: Line vectors: tdreach: Transverse reaches identified by algorithm and visually verified TD watersheds endorheic streams: Endorheic streams in the dataset TD watersheds exorheic streams: Exorheic streams in the dataset Points spaced 10 km along the transverse reaches: pp: Pourpoints into the transverse drainage upstream: Points on the transverse reach upstream of the pourpoint downstream: Points on the transverse reach downstream of the pourpoint csv files: td slope+relative elevation stats: Slope statistics and relative elevation statistics for the buffers surrounding each point, used to identify transverse drainages as described in the article Lee revision 2 Appendix A - TD literature: Supplemental file of transverse drainage literature listed at the end of the article Planned updates include: River names for all streams >200 km with transverse reaches [UPDATED] Note: Stream names include river segments listed from downstream to upstream, with segment names separated by slashes. Names were derived using Gemini and OpenStreetMap, so may be inaccurate, especially in remote or arid regions. Leave feedback to correct river names at https://tinyurl.com/4r88daa2 REM-derived TDs on streams between 100-200 km Addition of streams with TDs identified by visual verification alone
