This dataset is established by collecting and analyzing customer demand and consumption-related data for relational databases in Sichuan Province, with the objectives of understanding the purchasing power level and consumption preferences of customers for relational databases, evaluating the market popularity of relational databases in Sichuan Province, and providing references for industry enterprises to develop targeted sales strategies for relational databases, thereby enabling better delivery of personalized products and services to customers.
1. Data Collection: Collect transaction order data related to the demand for relational databases from the company's customers operating in Sichuan Province.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and aggregate the collected data to support subsequent analysis work.
3. Algorithm Processing: Perform demand analysis on the processed data using the following formula: $P = left{ frac{a_1}{b_1} + frac{a_2}{b_2} + frac{a_3}{b_3}
ight} imes k$, where $k$ is the consumption coefficient, which varies across regions. The empirically determined value of $k$ for Sichuan Province is 0.8. Specifically, $a_1$ refers to the minimum single-order quantity, $b_1$ refers to the minimum single-order consumption amount, $a_2$ refers to the maximum single-order quantity, $b_2$ refers to the maximum single-order consumption amount, $a_3$ refers to the average single-order quantity, and $b_3$ refers to the average single-order consumption amount.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide customers into three tiers — high, medium, and low — based on their calculated demand level. Specifically, customers with a score above 85 are labeled as "high-tier", those with a score ranging from 65 to 85 are labeled as "medium-tier", and those with a score below 65 are labeled as "low-tier". This classification helps the company gain a clearer understanding of its customer base: communicate with high-tier enterprises 1 to 2 times per month, with medium-tier enterprises 1 to 2 times per quarter, and with low-tier enterprises 1 to 2 times every six months, so as to formulate more precise production and sales strategies.
