Confluent monolayers of MRC-5 and HDLEC were treated with 25 ng/mL recombinant human IFN-beta and gamma in the culture media. For Akata(-) 30 ng/mL IFN-beta was added to culture media. After 48 hours RNA was isolated from the cell fraction.
