Indonesian E-Commerce Product Review Dataset for Fake Review Detection

This dataset consists of 75,000 product reviews collected from two major Indonesian e-commerce platforms, Tokopedia and Shopee. It includes 50,000 authentic consumer reviews verified through purchase status and platform legitimacy indicators, and 25,000 synthetic fake reviews generated using GPT-3.5-turbo with prompts designed to mimic realistic Indonesian review styles. The dataset covers diverse product categories such as electronics, fashion, home goods, beauty products, and food items, and contains reviews ranging from 20 to 500 characters in length. It was preprocessed for Indonesian-specific linguistic features, ensuring both cultural relevance and linguistic authenticity.
