Phenotypic and start codon targeted (SCoT) polymorphism reveal genetic variation of C. bretshneideri and other hawthorn species (Crataegus spp.) originating from China

We submitted the paper “<strong>Phenotypic</strong><strong> and start codon targeted</strong><strong> (SCoT)</strong><strong> polymorphism reveal genetic variation of <em>C. bretshneideri </em>and other hawthorn species (<em>Crataegu</em>s spp<em>.</em>) originat</strong><strong>ing</strong><strong> from China</strong>”to <em><strong>Annals of Forest Science</strong></em>, and a comparative assessment of phenotypic and molecular evaluations was applied to explore genetic variation behind <em>C. bretschnesideri</em> and other <em>Crataegus</em> species for providing the basis for inter-specific relationship. Otherwise, five new designed SCoT markers were effective applied in the study of <em>Crataegus </em>genetic diversity.
