资源简介:
this project contains the sequencing results of a serial dilution evolution experiment of B.subtillis, grown on 0.8M NaCl LB, provided with foreign gDNA from different sources. the four evolution experiments are 1)No DNA - evolution without foreign DNA. 2) other-Bacillus - evolution with other Bacillus foreign DNA as donors. 3) Bacteria - foreign DNA provided from salt tolerant bacteria. 4) Archaeae - foreign DNA provided from halophile Archaea. All evolution experiments included 3 repeats each amounting to total of 12 evolution lines. the project includes three sequencing reactions - 1) including sequencing of the populations of all 12 lines in the last day of the evolution - day 72 (gen 504). 2)sequencing performed on the populations of other-Bacillus lines only, at higher coverage, at 12 different time points, and also includes single colonies from line other-Bacillus 3, at the last day of evolution (day 72, gen 504). 3) includes sequencing results of a follow up competition experiment, in which a 5kb region that was found to be integrated in the other-Bacillus population, from B. subtillis RS-D-2 donor, was re-introduced into the ancestor strain and competed against the ancestor for 70 generations at either high salt LB (6 repeats) or normal salt LB (3 repeats). this sequencing includes only the fragment region, coordinated 3,811,990-3,817,611 on Bacillus subtilis 168 genome, on the pool of competing cells.
