The effect of amount and frequency of water supply on development of rangeland seedlings grasses

The data was created to study the effects of amount and frequency of watering on seedlings of two rangeland grass species, kleingrass (Panicum coloratum) and blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis). The study was conducted under greenhouse conditions, simulating five-month precipitation regimes based on long-term precipitation average (LPA) in the arid portion of the southwestern High Plains of Texas, USA. The watering regimes were: 1) LPA, 2) dry (75% of the LPA), and 3) wet (average of ten years in the LPA with highest precipitation).
