Cost of a Spanish non-lucrative visa for UK and US applicants, 2026: official fees, income test and declared income (My Spain Visa summary data)
收藏资源简介:
A British citizen applying in London pays about £630 in fixed official costs for a Spanish non-lucrative visa in 2026. An American pays about $193. The gap comes from reciprocity in the visa fee: £516 for a British citizen against $140 for a US citizen. The income test is the same for both nationalities: €2,400 a month for one person and €3,000 a month for a couple in 2026 (400% of IPREM plus 100% for each family member, Royal Decree 1155/2024, article 62). The people who check their numbers in our online calculator do not arrive with the same money. 62% of British users declared passive income below about €2,500 a month, or none, against 38% of American users. 30% of Americans declared more than about €5,000 a month; among Brits it was 10% (April to 23 October 2026, shares rounded). What is in this record: one small summary table (CSV) with the fixed official costs per adult, the 2026 income test and the calculator income bands, plus a README and a methodology note. Fees come from the published fee lists of the Spanish consulates in London and Los Angeles (from 1 January 2026), BLS International, the FCDO, the US Department of State and Order PJC/617/2025. We publish shares, never counts. Calculator users are people exploring the visa, not confirmed applicants. Prepared by My Spain Visa, an immigration law practice in Spain led by Lucía Lagunas Reyes (Pamplona Bar Association, no. 2572). Data as of 29 October 2026. Fees change, so check the consulate before you apply. For the full guide to the non-lucrative visa, see myspainvisa.com.
