动物诊疗许可，是指县级以上地方人民政府农业农村主管部门依法向符合法定条件的单位或个人核发的，准许其从事动物疾病预防、诊断、治疗和动物绝育手术等经营性活动的法律凭证。未取得《动物诊疗许可证》不得从事动物诊疗活动。

Animal veterinary practice permit refers to the legal document granted by the agricultural and rural competent departments of local people's governments at or above the county level in accordance with the law to eligible units or individuals, authorizing them to conduct commercial activities including animal disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and animal sterilization. No entity or individual may engage in veterinary practice activities without obtaining the "Animal Veterinary Practice Permit".
