<strong>This index is calculated using SPI3, the anomalies of the fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (fAPAR) and soil suction (pF). </strong> <strong>Four warning categories are available:</strong> <strong>0 = None</strong> <strong>< 1 = Watch (Precipitation shortage)</strong> <strong>< 2 = Warning (Soil moisture deficit)</strong> <strong>> 2 = Alert (Vegetation stress)</strong> <strong>Definition of watch, warning and alert can be found in Sepulcre-Canto et al., 2012 </strong>
