Fifth instar larvae of the caddisfly Dicosmoecus gilvipes were collected from the South Fork Eel River in Northern California and held in common garden at 11C before thermally ramping over 4 days to temperatures between 15 and 30C, where they were held for 24h until being frozen and prepared for RNAseq.
