The present study aimed to determine the transcriptional response of Eriocheir sinensis to different exons in cytoplasmic tail of Dscam. In the group targeting exon32, 306 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified, and 3579 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in the group targeting exon33. The DEGs were enriched in small molecule binding, protein-containing complex binding and immunity-related pathways. Quantitative real-time PCR validated the data for selected genes. In general, We found that exon 33 could regulate key genes associated with cellular endocytosis and regulation of actin cytoskeleton. This provided an important basis for us to further study the molecular mechanism of cellular endocytosis in blood cells.
