Microevolution of anthrax from a young ancestor (m.a.y.a.) - a possible soil-borne life cycle of Bacillus anthracis. Pollino - Bacillus anthracis genomes

Bacillus anthracis strains were isolated from a burial-site in Pollino National Park where bovines died of anthrax and were buried in 2004. Strains were used for investigation of microevolution of Bacillus antrhacis and a possible sil-borne life cycle.
