To characterize the clinical Klebsiella pneumoniae isolate harboring blaOXA-48-like on the different type plasmids in China. The plasmid DNA was sequenced using Nanopore MinION and Illumina platform. The strain was resistant to ertapenem. The blaOXA-181-harboring plasmid, pOXA-181_YML0508, was lncX3-type with high conjugation frequency at 1.94*10-4. This is the first report of the K. pneumoniae isolate positive for blaOXA-48 in China, and our results suggested that the horizontal transfer of blaOXA-232 in vivo via plasmids, which played an essential role in the transmission and prevalence of the blaOXA-48 gene.
