Identification of health-associated and pathogen-suppressive oak microbiota

A subset of bacterial isolates obtained from the 13 healthiest oak trees in a cohort of 150, and bacterial isolates exhibiting suppressive actitivty against bacteria associated with acute oak decline were identified via Sanger sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene.In this data set, <code>.qmd</code> files contain the processing of sequences obtained by Sanger sequencing and the construction of phylogenetic trees and Venn diagrams.<code>.html</code> files contain the rendered HTML versions of the .qmd files.Directory <code>inputs</code> contains all RDS, CSV, and XLSX files required to run the <code>.qmd</code> scriptsA <code>README.txt</code> file is also provided with an explanation of file contents and software requirements.
