This study established a rat mastitis animal model, collecting fecal samples from rats on day 0 and 30 for metagenomic sequencing, to evaluate the remission of mastitis by a breast milk-originated probiotic strain, Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Probio-M9, and the translocation of ingested probiotics to the mammary gland.
