We characterized primary human bronchial epithelial cells (pHBECs) from end-stage COPD and pulmonary healthy individuals. The transcriptomic profiles were assessed by single cell analysis in serial samples of pHBEC culture focussing on basal cell differentiation. Overall design: The serial single cell RNA sequencing analysis was performed by using the Drop-seq technology on seven different culture timepoints (day 0, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21, 28). Raw data not provided due to patient privacy restrictions.
